"Fourish" is inspired by presence, capturing the ever-shifting light of each season. I invite the viewer to slow down and notice the relationships between light, stems, shadow, and atmosphere.

This series of oil paintings is a celebration of movement, growth, overcoming, and moving through. It is asking us to thrive, to evolve, and to adapt. By utilizing and manipulating traditional painting techniques, I hope to highlight the lush and layered experience of seasonal growth. It is important to note that the work is created through observation and memory. Layering experience and presence.

Creating is reconnecting with inner knowing, it is practicing the art of observation, and it is "feeling" rather than "seeing".
